Ashley Neese is an interdisciplinary artist,
publisher and curator. She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia
and received her BFA from the Atlanta College of Art in 2003.
Neese moved to California in the summer of 2003 to attend graduate
school at the California College of the Arts. Her projects and
performances have been exhibited in the Bay Area, New York City,
Atlanta, Portland, Providence, Toronto, ONT and Regina, SK. Shortly
after completing graduate school she started a library project,
it’s
all for you, that is open to the public by appointment. In
2008 she began hosting a non-denominational mediation group in
her apartment and founded AFY, a publishing company that
specializes in small runs of contemporary art books. Currently
she is working on publishing preparing for a 2 week road trip
along the Oregon Trail.
